The Sima Vivo video kit is a device that allows any camcorder to easily connect to any computer. Once you're connected, you're ready to broadcast live with Vivo.

The Sima Vivo video kit is available at Best Buy locations and BestBuy.com. With this kit, live video broadcasting is made easy for Windows PC users. If you have a Mac, please visit the firewire setup page.



To begin using the Sima Vivo video kit, insert the CD that came with the cables into your computer and install the application that is included. This enables the Sima Vivo cables to work with your computer.


Does your camera have an A/V out port?

Plug the A/V cable that came with your camera into this port.

Plug the Sima Vivo cable into the end of the A/V cable.



Then plug the other end of the Sima Vivo cable into the USB port on your PC.

No RCA ports? Try these alternate setup steps


My camera and computer both have Firewire ports    [expand]

You can plug the Sima Vivo Hardware into those ports instead.



My camera supports Firewire but my computer lacks Firewire ports    [expand]

First, check to see if your camera has an RCA port. If it does, connect your Sima Vivo Hardware to the RCA port and connect the other end of the cable to your PC's USB port.

If your camera does not have RCA and your computer lacks Firewire, you will need to add Firewire ports to your PC by purchasing a Firewire add-on card.
