Now that you've created an event page, its time to customize it. Customizing your event page enables you to add colors, images, schedules, and other personalized content.

Once your page is created, you should see a "Customize your page" button:



You are free to customize as much or as little of your page as you want, but we'll walk you through all the steps.

The customize page is divided into a number sections.

Control panel    [expand]

Your control panel is located on the right hand side of your customize page. Whenever you make changes to your page, the "Save Changes" button turns red, and a notice reminding you to save appears. Click the button and your changes will save.

Also on the right hand control panel, you will see a "Preview page" button. This will pop up a preview of your event page. This enables you to see what your page will look like without leaving your customize page.

Next is the "Start broadcast" button. Clicking this will launch your broadcast window. Go here to read our broadcasting guide.

Finally, there is a "Go to my page" button which takes you to your event page.



Page info    [expand]

In the Page info section, you can change your page's title, add a page description, view your page address, and set a page password

Enter a password to keep your event page private. Only people who you choose to share your password with can view your event page. If you choose to not enter a password, anyone who has your page address will be able to visit your page.


Broadcast schedule    [expand]

Make a broadcast schedule so your viewers will know when you will be streaming. You are not bound to the times on the schedule, but it helps to let viewers know when to tune in.

Simply enter a name for your broadcast, enter the approximate date and time, and click "Add broadcast". If your plans change, just click "Delete from schedule" to remove any scheduled broadcast.


Page background, colors, and content    [expand]

You can either select one of our backgrounds, upload your own, or choose "none" if you prefer no background image.

If you have images saved on your computer, you can upload them to use as a background image. Click "Browse", navigate to your background on your computer, then click "Open". Now click "Upload background" and your new background image will be set. You can make your background repeat (also known as tile) by checking the "Tile background image" checkbox.

We've provided some colors to choose from for various areas of your page. Just click the round "Color wheel" and pick a color. When you're done, click "Save changes" on your control panel!

In this "Page content" section you can choose the elements you would like to appear on your page. - First, choose the way you want to interact with your page visitors - "Chat" allows visitors to your page to send messages in real time. - "Question and Answer" allows visitors to only send questions to you. You can then screen the questions and answer them live. - "Both" will allow visitors to toggle between chat and question and answer on the event page. - "None" will disable viewers from interacting with you. - Next, check off the various content items you would like on your page - Remember, you can click "Preview page" at any time to see what your page looks like. - Finally, you can upload a banner image that will appear on the top of your page. Click "Browse", navigate to the banner image, and then click "Upload banner"


Email invites    [expand]

Now you need to let people know about your event page. Use this section to send invites to friends, family, and anyone else you want to view your page. You can also use any email program, just be sure to send both your event page address and password, as listed in the "Page info" section.
